You may now require evidence of English & Maths at level 2 before being considered for a job or courses such as HLTA or NCFE Level 2. Take the opportunity to gain a City & Guilds Literacy or Numeracy qualification through Learndirect, equivalent to the skills level of GCSE A-C.
No charges apply to literacy or numeracy courses.

IT Courses

A wide range of IT courses to choose from including wordprocessing, spreadsheets, database, desktop publishing, artwork & images, email, internet, presentations, IT security for users & creating websites. Different levels matched to your ability.
Course costs for IT Level 0 (basic £15.50) and IT Level 1 (beginner £34)**.

The iTQ (an NVQ Level 2 in IT) If you are in employment, use Microsoft Office in your day-to-day work and want the opportunity to demonstrate your competence across an exciting range of IT applications, then iTQ through learndirect is for you.

If you already have an ECDL (syllabus 4) or CLAiT Plus, you can use these prior qualifications to
count towards the iTQ. Email or phone for more details.

If you have up-to-date IT skills or have passed CLAIT Level 1 and want to progress to a level 2 qualification, ask about the Learndirect flexible European Computer Driving Licence package. Weekly testing available to suit your lifestyle, daytime and twilight. Learner charges apply**.
