Advice & Guidance

Student Advice

Our job is to help you choose the right course and to do this you will need good impartial information and advice. This can be obtained from all front line staff at the Centres. If you need more specialist, detailed advice than they can give, they will refer you to specialist staff.

General Advice

In term time advice on our courses can be obtained in person or by telephone between 09:30 – 15:00 and 19:00 – 21:00 Monday to Friday (Friday evenings at Sidcup only) and 10.00 – 12.00 Saturday. We will give you full information about courses you are interested in, will provide course outlines, and if there are no vacancies, we will advise on alternatives at the centre or elsewhere.

Specialist Advice

If you need a greater degree of advice and guidance relating to your course choice, you can ask for a tutor to contact you or telephone the relevant Curriculum Manager. Usually advice can be given over the phone but if any appointment is necessary, this can be arranged.
