Examination/Qualification
All courses marked with this symbol C are accredited / examination courses.
Learners who enrol on a course leading to a qualification MUST take the qualification with this College and not elsewhere. Failure to do so will result in learners being invoiced for their course at a cost of £8.00 per hour.
Attendance & Withdrawal
All learners are encouraged to attend regularly for a minimum of 80% of their course. Any absences must be notified to the centre office where the course is taking place.
Learners who are absent for four consecutive weeks without notification to the College, will automatically be withdrawn from the course. As the withdrawal of learners affects the funding the College receives to support the course, learners who withdraw without good reason will be invoiced depending on their funding status, up to a maximum of £8.00 per course hour.
Exam /Accreditation Costs
Generally the cost of examination, registration (with the awarding body), and administration will be included in the course fees. However, there are some exceptions: please read the description of your course carefully this will tell you whether there are any additional costs to pay. All examination, accreditation and administration fees are non-refundable.
Examination Costs
If you are in receipt of a reduced fee or receive a free place you will still be required to pay your own examination, accreditation, registration and administration fees. If you are unable to do so you may apply to the Learner Support Fund for support see under Grant Aid.
