Designed for those who have a good knowledge of the basics of astronomy and wish to learn more about the latest exciting findings in astronomical research. Visiting lecturers from universities and other astronomical institutions are invited to give talks on their own particular research area. This course has close links with the Crayford Manor Astronomical Society which meets every fourth week during term time and of which all learners attending the class automatically become members.
