Early Georgian London – North of the City

Learn about life in the Eighteenth Century on this walking tour of historic sites north of the old City of London. Discover how our ancestors dealt with life, death, crime and shopping. On our journey we will look at places as diverse as Smithfield Market, Bunhill Fields Burial Ground and the site of Newgate Prison. This tour does require mobility and may include visits to buildings which, due to their age, have limited disabled access. There will be a refreshment break so please bring a packed lunch. Meet at Old Street tube station at 10:30am.
