Early Georgian London – The City and the West End

An absorbing walking tour in the historic heart of the City of London and the fashionable streets of the West End. Learn how London was rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666, visit surviving buildings and learn about life in the time of Hogarth, Handel and Dr Johnson. The tour does require mobility and may include visits to buildings, which due to their age, have limited disabled access. There will be a refreshment break so please bring a packed lunch. Meet at Monument tube station at 10:30am, visit buildings in the City, then travel by public transport to the West End.
