NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing

This part time qualification is open to learners who are working in a Hairdressing Salon for at least three days per week and running their own column of clients. Learners entering the NVQ Level 3 programme will complete four mandatory unts: Health & Safety, Promoting Services and Products, Providing Consultation Services and Creating a Variety of Looks Using a Combination of Cutting Techniques. In addition five optional Units will be carried out at Advanced Level enabling the learner to build on skills previously acquired. This qualification will run for forty five weeks. Year 1 encompassing 31 weeks, year 2 encompassing 14 weeks.
