College Facilities

College Centres

All our centres are welcoming and pleasant places in which to learn. This is valued by people who may be coming back to education after many years. Our job is to help you learn and to provide as much support as we can when you need it.

Canteens

Each of our main sites has a canteen for use by students and staff. Sandwiches and snacks are available as well as hot and cold beverages. The canteen is a good place to meet students from other courses and to catch up on College events.

Crèche

The crèche is for children aged up to 5 years and can cater for babies and children including those with disability. It is open for morning and afternoon sessions, Monday to Friday, subject to demand. The cost is £10.00 per session; a session is morning or afternoon. Please phone main centres for more information and to book a place.

Open Study Centre

The Open Study Centre at Brampton Road is open to all Adult Education students. You can use the centre if you need to improve your computer skills, or to support your study with practice manuals. The Open Study Centre also offers internet access and email, as well as a range of Adult Guidance materials.

Learndirect

Learndirect offers free internet-based courses.

Learndirect is based at Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, Howbury Centre, Slade Green and Southlake Centre, Thamesmead.

Parking Facilities

The College has a limited number of parking spaces, including disabled parking at each site. We operate a Parking Permit system for staff and students. You will receive a permit at the start of your course or from the Centre office. However, please note that these do not guarantee you a parking space. Parking is on the usual first-come, first-served basis.

The College cannot accept responsibility for cars or personal possessions left in the car parks.
